New Business Sales (BDR)

J2 is looking for a highly motivated, driven sales representative to join our dynamic business. This role is aimed at a person who is willing to give their attention to aggressively targeting new business in the UK by working to deliver practical cyber resilience options for customers of all sizes. We work in a dynamic team and operate across multiple geographies. We have a proven and reliable cyber resilience program that we deliver to our customers across all segments. You would be expected to uphold the following roles and perform the following tasks:

  • New Business Sales to prospective and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Manage a client’s needs, goals and challenges to help secure our clients and partners.

You would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Management and achievement of allocated sales budgets.
  • General Account Management on specified accounts.
  • Assisting the renewals team where necessary.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams within the group to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients and partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for allocated clients and partners in the region, providing enablement and training where necessary.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Cold Calling and Prospecting.
  • Analyse client data and sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions with CRM (ConnectWise).
  • Manning of stands at Trade Shows, Exhibitions, Events, etc
  • Sales Reporting and rectifying deviations where appropriate.
  • Administration tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting as required in agreed format at stipulated intervals.
  • Travel as required for the role.
